Is there a ward or department at Poole Hospital that has really meant a lot to you? Or even an area that you work in and you would like to help raise vital funds?

Get together with friends, family and colleagues for a socially distanced Walk for Wards, and make a real difference to parts of the hospital close to your heart. You can choose any distance and any date during September to take on the challenge… so get your walking boots on, and show your support for Poole Hospital!

Where to walk

The fun idea around our Walk for Wards September event, is that the choice is completely yours regarding were you would like to walk! Poole is such a historic beauty spot beaming with the rolling Purbeck hills, ancient history and award winning blue flag beaches, we are blessed with an outstanding coastline where you will be sure to gain inspiration for a fantastic walk.

Safety comes first

Please be aware of government guidance regarding social distancing, we would like you to stay safe while having fun on your Walk for Wards.

  • As per government guidance, no more than 6 people to your walking group
  • Remember to adhere to regular hand washing or hand sanitising, especially after touching surfaces
  • Keep hydrated! Take plenty of snacks
  • Stay within 2 meters distance

Remember to check the most up to date government guidance on the current situation with COVID-19 regarding staying safe outside before your Walk for Wards challenge.
