Gully’s Place Trust Fund

Gully’s Place Trust Fund has been developed under Poole Hospital Charity to support children’s palliative care across Dorset from diagnosis to death, in hospital, at home and beyond.

Across Dorset, there are around 400 infants, children and young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.

Gully’s Place Trust Fund supports these children and their families from diagnosis to death, including bereavement support.

The Gully’s Place Suite at Poole Hospital provides children and their families with a comfortable and calm environment, with access to support as it is needed. The Gully’s Place Trust Fund aims to extend that support and recreate the Gully’s Place environment wherever care is needed, be it in hospital, at home or elsewhere.

Diane Gulliford donated £10,000 to the development of Gully’s Place in 2009, raised through many years of productions at the town’s renowned Diane Gulliford School of Dancing.

Gully’s place is now supported by the Paediatric Teams in Poole and Dorchester and our elite volunteers known as the Gully’s Buddies. Gully’s Place has been supported by local businesses, families and the community all funding our unique service.
