Easter Appeal

Each summer, Poole Hospital’s children’s diabetes team take their patients on an adventurous summer camp.

With your support, camp is a great way for our young patients to meet others like them and make life-long friends. Where no-one feels different or isolated for having to test their sugar levels and inject insulin throughout the day.

Under the watchful eyes of the diabetes specialist, camp goers are encouraged to jump outside of their comfort zone whilst learning more about how to manage their diabetes during physical challenges.

“You get to meet up with people of similar ages, who face similar problems to you and have a fun summer holiday packed with exciting activities – without any worries at all… Honestly, diabetes camp has always been such an overwhelmingly incredible experience.” – Kyra, Summer Camp 2018.

Support children with diabetes in Dorset this Easter by donating the cost of an Easter egg.
