Our Consider Dementia campaign aims to raise money and awareness in order to make a positive change to our patients living with dementia.
With an estimated 13,405 people living with dementia in Dorset*, it is imperative that we look to help our hospital become more Dementia-Friendly.
We can start making changes to create a more welcoming space, improve people’s understanding of dementia and providing more therapies for our patients.
In order to make these environmental, therapeutic and behavioural changes within our hospital we need to raise £150,000. Its a large task but we hope that with your support we can make our hospital a less intimidating environment for those with dementia and their loved ones.
Please join us and play your part to make real changes for the growing number of people affected by dementia.
